# Run generation and analysis

> Use individual tools, read-only analysis, image and video generation, and creation history.

## Overview

Run individual tools and read-only analyses, and generate or edit images and videos. Review input schemas and billing before execution. Media generation can save history and artifacts in a local project.

## Run individual tools

`tools` runs workspace reads, searches, analyses, media generation, and other functions by tool name.

```

Review input schemas, billing, and safety information with `tools inspect` before `tools run`. In the published release, every invocation, including `tools list`, is subject to NoimosAI credit billing.

## Run read-only analysis

`analysis` or `analyze` provides read-only analysis of GEO, video, websites, SEO, content, social media, and analytics.

noimosai analysis inspect <analysis-name>
noimosai analysis run <analysis-name> --args '{"key":"value"}' --output json
```

Find features with `analysis list` and review schemas and billing with `analysis inspect` before execution. Analysis does not modify external data, but `analysis run` consumes NoimosAI credits.

## Generate images and videos

First, check model capabilities, input fields, and estimates for free.

noimosai model form <model-id>
noimosai model cost <model-id>
```

After review, run `generate image` or `generate video`. Local files can also be supplied as references.

noimosai generate image \

  --dry-run

noimosai generate image \
  --prompt "A simple advertising photo with the product centered" \
  --reference ./product.png
```

`--dry-run` checks arguments and estimates without uploading or generating. Execution saves history locally, and artifacts download when the wait completes.

## Edit images and videos

Pass the original file to `edit image` or `edit video`.

noimosai edit image \
  --source ./source.png \
  --prompt "Change the background to white" \
  --dry-run
```

Supported inputs and editing capabilities vary by model. Check `model form <model-id>` and specify `--model` when needed.

## Inspect history and artifacts

Use `creation` if you exited without waiting or need past artifacts again.

noimosai creation list
noimosai creation get <creation-id>
noimosai creation wait <creation-id>
noimosai creation download <creation-id>
```

Use `creation retry-submit <creation-id>` only when the transmission outcome is unknown and you need to resubmit the same saved request. It does not create a new generation.
