# Publish content

> Review social posts, articles, DMs, and comments before publishing or sending.

## Overview

Publish social posts and articles or reply to DMs and comments from the CLI. Since these affect external accounts, review destinations and content first; publish, send, or delete only after approval.

## Save and publish social posts

`post` reads a JSON file and saves a draft, publishes immediately, or schedules publication.

```bash theme={null}
noimosai post posts.json --now --dry-run
noimosai post posts.json --draft
noimosai post posts.json --now
noimosai post posts.json --schedule "2026-12-10T09:00:00+09:00"
```

Specify exactly one of `--now`, `--schedule`, or `--draft`. First use `noimosai post posts.json --now --dry-run` to inspect destinations, text, and media without sending. Use `--draft` while awaiting approval. Even with `--dry-run`, `providerAccountId` is required. Include an explicit timezone offset in scheduled timestamps.

> [!WARNING]
>
> `--now` and `--schedule` publish to real accounts. A `--dry-run` check does not guarantee successful publication.

Find the destination `providerAccountId` with `noimosai integration list`. For images and videos, put the location returned by `noimosai upload-media <file>` in the post data. Get Pinterest board IDs with `noimosai pinterest-boards <providerAccountId>`.

## Publish long-form articles

`publish-article` publishes or schedules Markdown files to WordPress, X Articles, or Substack.

```bash theme={null}
noimosai publish-article article.md \
  --provider WordPress \
  --account <providerAccountId> \
  --yes
```

Specify `--provider` and `--account`; add `--yes` for actual publication. Check `noimosai publish-article --help` for available options and publishing requirements.

## Reply to DMs and comments

`inbox` replies to existing DM threads, comments, or mentions.

```bash theme={null}
noimosai inbox dm X <conversation-id> "Thank you. I will check." \
  --account <providerAccountId> \
  --dry-run
noimosai inbox reply X <post-id> "Thank you for your comment." \
  --account <providerAccountId> \
  --yes
```

Replies have no draft mode. First inspect account, target ID, and text with `--dry-run`, then send with `--yes` only after approval.

## Delete posts

`delete-post` cancels drafts and scheduled posts or removes published posts from external platforms.

```bash theme={null}
noimosai delete-post <post-id> --yes
```

Deleting a published post cannot be undone. Review post IDs and accounts first. For multiple IDs, check the published limit with `noimosai delete-post --help`.
