# Trigger Types

> Understand available trigger types and choose the right execution condition.

## Overview

A trigger defines when an agent should run autonomously. Choose the condition that best matches the signal you want to monitor.

## Trigger Types

### Schedule

Runs at defined times (daily, weekly, monthly, or custom patterns). Use for recurring reporting, analysis, content planning, and regular monitoring.

### Gmail

Runs when an email arrives to a selected Gmail account. Use for inbox-driven workflows such as triage or response preparation.

### X

Runs when a new post is published on a selected X account. Use for competitor or account monitoring workflows.

### RSS

Runs when a new item appears in a specified feed URL. Use for media/news watching and source tracking.

### Tracking Link

Runs based on the configured tracking URL condition. Use for URL-based monitoring workflows tied to a specific page.

## How to Choose

Follow the steps below to complete this action.

1. Choose `Schedule` for predictable recurring tasks.
2. Choose `Gmail`, `X`, or `RSS` when execution should react to external events.
3. Choose `Tracking Link` when page-level changes should trigger analysis.

## Credit and Quality Considerations

Review these notes before you proceed.

* More frequent or broader triggers increase estimated monthly credit usage.
* Start with clear prompts and a moderate run frequency.
* Review outputs in `Execution Results`, then refine trigger settings.
