# Improve Inquiry Conversion Rates

> Use NoimosAI to find where prospective clients drop off between service pages and inquiry completion, then improve the journey to generate more qualified inquiries.

Improving <Tooltip tip="Conversion rate: the percentage of page visitors who complete a desired action, such as submitting an inquiry or booking a consultation.">**conversion rate (CVR)**</Tooltip> helps more prospective clients find the information they need and complete an inquiry, quote request, or appointment booking. Measure both inquiry volume and the share of inquiries that match your services.

There are four main steps when improving CVR for consultations and inquiries:

1. Decide which conversion step to improve and how to measure it
2. Identify where visitors drop off and why
3. Improve pages, CTAs, and forms
4. Compare CVR and inquiry content before and after changes

Start with [Understand conversion fundamentals](#basics), then follow [Improve inquiry conversion rates with NoimosAI](#practice) for the complete workflow.

## Understand conversion fundamentals

Divide the journey to consultation into service pages, case studies, pricing, CTAs, forms, and submission completion. Select one conversion step where many visitors drop off and that has a large impact on consultations.

### 1. Decide which conversion step to improve and how to measure it

First, break down the customer actions from learning about the service to completing a consultation, and make each action measurable. Rather than only looking at overall inquiry rate, check the conversion rate at each step: the percentage of users who completed the previous action and then proceeded to the next.

The table below defines a measurable action for each stage and the first page element to review when progression is low. Use only the stages that exist in your actual inquiry journey and measure the same events consistently in Google Analytics or a comparable tool.

| Conversion step where customers move forward | Action counted as completion | What to check on the page if the metric is low |
| -------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| From service page to detailed evaluation | View of a case study, pricing page, team page, or engagement process | Whether the target client, problem, outcome, and next supporting page are clear |
| From detailed evaluation to CTA | Click on consultation, inquiry, quote request, or appointment booking | Whether case studies, scope, pricing, and trust signals answer the main decision questions |
| From CTA to form start | Display of form or booking screen | Whether the post-click flow matches expectations |
| From form start to completion | Successful submission or booking confirmation | Input fields, errors, time required, and the confirmation message |
| From inquiry to qualified opportunity | Inquiries confirmed as within your scope | Whether the problem, budget, timeline, region, and scope match |

In Google Analytics, record key pages, CTA clicks, form starts, and completed submissions as events. Do not send sensitive data or full form responses to analytics tools. Determine whether inquiries are qualified using counts and classifications that exclude personal information.

### 2. Identify where visitors drop off and why

In addition to overall CVR, segment by source, service, target industry, device, and new vs returning visitors. Don’t conclude causes from numbers alone—review the page, form, and recurring questions in inquiries.

The table below summarizes what to first check and what to improve for each place where drop-off is found. Start with the applicable row, review the page, and base conclusions on actual displays and customer questions rather than assumptions.

| Where drop-off is found | What to check first and improve if needed |
| ----------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Service page | Clarify target customers, problems, outcomes, scope, and next actions |
| Case studies / examples | Show customer problems, scope handled, outcomes, and conditions, and link to related services |
| Pricing / request flow | Show pricing estimates, quote conditions, timelines, and what customers should prepare |
| CTA | Indicate the action after clicking, e.g., "Consult" or "Request a Quote" |
| Form | Limit to fields needed for initial consultation, and show input rules and how to fix errors |
| After submission | Show confirmation, expected response time, and information to prepare next |

If inquiry volume is high but many requests are a poor fit, make the target client, scope, pricing approach, service region, and timelines explicit on the service page before adding more form fields.

### 3. Improve pages, CTAs, and forms

Make a single change addressing the cause of drop-off and test the flow from service page to submission on actual devices. For sites managed with NoimosAI, verify previews on both desktop and mobile after changes. For external form or booking tools, make changes in the provider’s admin screen.

### 4. Compare CVR and inquiry content before and after changes

Match conditions such as period, source, and device when comparing before and after. Check not only the directly improved CVR but also number of inquiries, the proportion of qualified inquiries, misunderstandings-driven inquiries, and form errors.

Use the table below to check effects starting from the metric closest to where you changed something. Then verify whether improvements continue through to consultation completion or qualified inquiries. Don’t count a change as successful if it only increased intermediate clicks.

| Changed area | Metric to directly confirm the effect | Metrics to confirm inquiry quality |
| ---------------------------- | ------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| Service / case study pages | CTA click rate | Form completions, qualified inquiries |
| Pricing / request conditions | CTA click rate | Inquiry content, condition mismatches |
| CTA | Form start rate | Form completion rate |
| Form | Submission completion rate, errors | Actionable inquiries, additional checks needed for replies |

### 1. Decide which conversion step to improve and how to measure it

Connect Google Analytics and input your public URL, main contact methods, and events you can capture into the chat.

Ask NoimosAI to map the consultation journey and identify the events that mark the start and completion of each stage. Use only data you can reliably obtain, then select the conversion step where an improvement would have the greatest impact.

#### Prompt for chat

```text theme={null}
For [website URL], map the journey from the service page to [consultation, inquiry, quote request, or appointment booking].
Check the pages and events available in Google Analytics and summarize how to measure the start and completion of each conversion step, how to calculate CVR, the segments to mainly compare, and other metrics to check simultaneously. Do not assume actions you cannot measure; list them separately as candidates for additional measurement.
```

Choose one conversion step you can measure and where improvement will have the biggest impact.

### 2. Identify where visitors drop off and why

Create an agent to compare the most recent 30 days with the preceding 30 days for the chosen conversion step. From changes by source, page, and device, find where drop-off increased, review the page and form content, and narrow the cause to a single fix.

#### Agent setup

**Trigger:** Schedule / Monthly

**Instructions:**

```text theme={null}
Compare the most recent 30 days in Google Analytics with the previous 30 days.
Report traffic and CVR by source, key service/case-study/pricing page, CTA, form start, and inquiry completion. Identify material changes by source, page, or device. Review the affected page’s target client, problem, outcome, case studies, scope, pricing, CTA, and form, then present the most likely high-impact cause of drop-off, the supporting evidence, and the recommended fix.
```

**Integrations:** <span style={{ display: "inline-flex", alignItems: "center", lineHeight: "24px" }}><img src="https://mintcdn.com/agoslabstechnologiesfzco/TJAdFLdMxSC5eSdh/public/help-center/integrations/icons/google-analytics.webp?fit=max&auto=format&n=TJAdFLdMxSC5eSdh&q=85&s=5decc2b46e733583d74874463cb8ffb6" alt="" aria-hidden="true" style={{ width: "16px", height: "16px", objectFit: "contain", margin: "0 6px 0 0" }} width="80" height="80" data-path="public/help-center/integrations/icons/google-analytics.webp" />Google Analytics</span>

Compare the analysis with the actual page, form, and recurring questions in inquiries, then decide on one cause to fix.

### 3. Improve pages, CTAs, and forms

Pass the identified cause into chat and update the target page or form. Avoid changing unrelated areas; produce the final copy, implementation checklist, and metrics to measure after the change.

#### Prompt for chat

```text theme={null}
Based on this chat's analysis, improve [target page or form].
Address the drop-off cause by updating the target customers, problems, offered outcomes, case studies, scope, pricing, request flow, CTA, input fields, errors, and post-submission guidance. Summarize the changes, provide the final copy, provide implementation check items, and list the metrics to check after the change.
```

Confirm facts and constraints, then apply changes to the website or form. Also confirm you are not asking for more sensitive information than necessary in inquiries.

### 4. Compare CVR and inquiry content before and after changes

Once data is collected, compare before vs after under the same conditions.

Enter the change date, content, and comparison period into chat to check directly improved CVR and effects on inquiry quality. Based on results, decide whether to keep the change, modify it, or test another cause.

#### Prompt for chat

```text theme={null}
In Google Analytics, compare the page or funnel [changed page or flow] before and after the change. The change date is [date], and the change details are [details].
Use comparable periods, sources, and devices. Report the directly affected CVR, completed inquiries, and changes in key-page views. I will also provide [counts and categories of qualified inquiries]. Evaluate both inquiry volume and the qualified share, then recommend whether to keep the change, revise it, or test a different hypothesis.
```

**Integrations:** <span style={{ display: "inline-flex", alignItems: "center", lineHeight: "24px" }}><img src="https://mintcdn.com/agoslabstechnologiesfzco/TJAdFLdMxSC5eSdh/public/help-center/integrations/icons/google-analytics.webp?fit=max&auto=format&n=TJAdFLdMxSC5eSdh&q=85&s=5decc2b46e733583d74874463cb8ffb6" alt="" aria-hidden="true" style={{ width: "16px", height: "16px", objectFit: "contain", margin: "0 6px 0 0" }} width="80" height="80" data-path="public/help-center/integrations/icons/google-analytics.webp" />Google Analytics</span>

Do not input personal information—use only counts and classifications. If CVR rises but out-of-scope inquiries increase, review sources, target customers, and scope descriptions.
