# Build and Improve a Website or Media Hub

> Use NoimosAI to structure articles, video, audio, and other content into a hub that encourages continued viewing, subscriptions, and participation.

A website or media hub does more than host articles. It explains the topics you cover, who creates or publishes the work, how to explore the archive, and how to keep receiving updates. If your primary channels are social media, YouTube, note, newsletters, or podcasts, you do not need to duplicate everything on a website. Define the role of each channel and help people find the next relevant piece of content.

Work proceeds in roughly three stages:

1. Decide the roles of distribution channels and the website/media
2. Create a structure so content can be found and understood
3. Improve based on views and ongoing touchpoints

Start with [Understand the fundamentals](#basics), then follow [Build and improve your hub with NoimosAI](#practice) for the complete workflow.

<a id="basics" />

## Understand the fundamentals

### 1. Define the role of each distribution channel and your hub

For each distribution channel, decide whether it handles discovery, viewing, saving, subscription, or interaction. Don’t assume you must centralize all content on the website; distinguish actions readers can complete on that channel from actions that require directing them elsewhere.

The table below compares the roles each distribution channel naturally plays. For the channels you currently use, choose one primary role and avoid having too many channels with the same role.

| Content distribution channel | Roles that channel is likely to handle |
| ---------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Website or blog | Organize topics, publisher and author information, articles, video or audio companions, and the archive |
| note | Publish articles and create touchpoints, follows, and reactions within note |
| social media | Deliver information within posts, create conversation, and point to articles, videos, and sign-up destinations |
| YouTube | Get search/recommendation views, channel subscriptions, and continued viewing from related videos |
| Newsletter | Continuously deliver new information to subscribed readers |
| Podcast | Be followed in audio apps and listened to on an ongoing basis |
| Community | Generate member questions, sharing, interactions, and event participation |

The primary channel can provide the complete experience. Use a website to supply information that the channel cannot present clearly, such as publisher details, topic structure, primary sources, and subscription or participation options.

### 2. Create a structure so content can be found and understood

On a website or media hub, separate the following roles:

* Home page: Explain who the publication or community is for, what it covers, and where a new visitor should start
* Topic / category pages: Group related articles, videos, and audio so they can be reviewed in order
* Content pages: Display article body, video/audio, summary, sources, publish date, and update date
* Publisher / author pages: Show areas of expertise, experience, editorial approach, and published or featured work
* Sign-up / participation pages: Explain what readers get by following, subscribing to the newsletter, subscribing to channels, or joining a community
* Search / navigation: Allow finding past content by topic, format, or publish date

Make titles, headings, body text, image alt text, and video/audio summaries readable as HTML so search engines and AI can retrieve the content.

Ensure that, no matter which page readers enter from, they can tell who is communicating about what, where related content is, and what to check next. As content grows, avoid sorting only by publish date; prepare classifications that fit discovery goals such as topic, target reader, series, and format.

If you mainly publish video or audio, you don’t need to duplicate everything on the website. Post titles, key points, participants, references, and related episodes to supplement information that is hard to capture from video/audio alone for search and listing.

### 3. Improve based on content journeys and subscriptions

Measure whether people continue to related content or a subscription or participation page, not page views alone. Trace journeys from the entry page and improve the structure, links, or invitation at the stage with the largest meaningful drop-off.

The table below maps observable states in viewing data to what you should first investigate and improve.

| What the data shows | Possible cause and response |
| --------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Many visitors leave from the homepage | The intended audience, main topics, or starting point may be unclear. State what the publication covers and for whom, then feature a small number of useful starting points instead of presenting the whole archive at once. |
| People finish one item but do not continue | The next relevant question may not be represented in the links. Add a short explanation of why a related article, episode, series, or category is the logical next step. |
| Older content receives little traffic | Valuable work may be buried by chronology or inconsistent categories. Create topic hubs or series pages, improve internal search and labels, and link older content from current pages when it remains accurate. |
| Content is consumed but few people view subscription or participation pages | The continuing value may be unclear or the invitation may appear before the audience receives value. Explain what people will receive next and place the prompt after relevant content. |
| People open a sign-up or membership page but do not complete it | Frequency, fees, required information, data use, cancellation, or the first post-sign-up experience may be unclear. Explain these terms before the form and ask only for information required to deliver the service. |

Check not only the entry pages but also the pages readers navigate to afterward. If readers move to more content on the same topic, interest and structure align. If readers always return to the top, leave after search, or drop off predominantly on sign-up pages, review related links, page roles, and guidance text.

### 1. Define the role of each distribution channel and your hub

First, enter the target audience, topics, and current distribution channels in chat. Ask NoimosAI to define each channel’s role in discovery, consumption, subscription, and interaction; identify what information a website should add; and map the routes between related content and follow, subscribe, or join actions.

#### Prompt for chat

```text theme={null}
I am publishing to [target readers] about [topic] via [articles, videos, audio, newsletter, social media, community].
For each distribution channel, define its role in discovery, consumption, saving, subscription, and interaction. Recommend what information the website should add, how related content should connect, and where people should be invited to follow, subscribe, or join. Do not assume that every experience must move to the website.
```

Narrow proposed roles based on where your current audience is, what each channel can demonstrate in results, and whether you can update it regularly. For example, if YouTube is the main channel, don’t duplicate videos on the website; instead include summaries, sources, related materials, and author information. If the newsletter is the main channel, prepare published articles and past issues that can be previewed before subscribing.

### 2. Create a structure so content can be found and understood

Provide URLs for existing channels and content and create the necessary pages and structure.

NoimosAI will review existing content and define the role and navigation for the homepage, topic or category pages, content pages, publisher or author pages, and subscription or participation pages. Do not duplicate content that already works well on another channel; create only the missing pages people need to explore the work and keep receiving updates.

#### Prompt for chat

```text theme={null}
Review the following URLs for existing websites, social media, YouTube, note, etc.: [URLs]. Design a website/media hub where [target readers] can find, understand, and continue to receive [topic] content.
For the homepage, topic or category pages, content pages, publisher or author pages, and subscription or participation pages, define each page’s role, required information, and links to the next page. Avoid duplicating existing content and state what the website should add.
```

If you operate your website with NoimosAI, create the required pages in the same chat, preview them, and publish. If you use an external website or CMS, produce the structure and publication copy to be implemented there.

<img src="https://mintcdn.com/agoslabstechnologiesfzco/WUdTSmFBnDccnDQ0/public/help-center/website/website-builder-overview.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=WUdTSmFBnDccnDQ0&q=85&s=be6b42ecd9918acf5958b9f9d8f415e1" alt="Screen for creating an information and community website with NoimosAI" style={{ width: "100%", border: "1px solid #e5e7eb", borderRadius: "8px", margin: "18px 0" }} width="2880" height="1554" data-path="public/help-center/website/website-builder-overview.png" />

Before publishing, check the following on both mobile and desktop:

* First-time visitors can identify the target readers and topics
* Articles, videos, and audio can be found by topic and format
* Each piece of content shows author, publish date, update date, and sources
* Users can move to related content and previous/next items in a series
* What readers get and how often they’ll get it is clear for follow, subscription, and participation
* You have the rights to publish images, video, audio, and quotes
* Private community information is not included on public pages

Add any missing pages in the same chat. When migrating existing content, verify that URLs, titles, publish dates, and internal links won’t break; set appropriate redirects for URLs that must change.

### 3. Improve based on content journeys and subscriptions

After publishing, review monthly how visitors move from entry pages to the next content and to sign-up/participation. Create an agent that identifies themes with sustained growth, pages where movement stops, and past content that needs updating or consolidation.

<div style={{ display: "flex", alignItems: "flex-start", gap: "10px", margin: "18px 0" }}><img src="https://mintcdn.com/agoslabstechnologiesfzco/TJAdFLdMxSC5eSdh/public/help-center/integrations/icons/google-analytics.webp?fit=max&auto=format&n=TJAdFLdMxSC5eSdh&q=85&s=5decc2b46e733583d74874463cb8ffb6" alt="" aria-hidden="true" style={{ width: "16px", height: "16px", objectFit: "contain", flex: "0 0 16px", margin: "4px 0 0" }} width="80" height="80" data-path="public/help-center/integrations/icons/google-analytics.webp" /><div><strong><a href="/help-center/integrations/analytics-and-data/google-analytics">Google Analytics</a></strong> should be connected to check entry pages, subsequent content views, and movement to sign-up/participation pages.</div></div>

#### Agent setup

**Trigger:** Schedule / Monthly

**Instructions:**

```text theme={null}
Analyze the website or media hub for the past month. Identify entry pages, content with increased views, the percentage of users who moved to the next content, and movement to follow/subscribe/join pages.
For each target reader and topic, propose content to continue growing, pages that should improve guidance to related content, and past content to update or consolidate.
```

**Integrations:** Google Analytics

<img src="https://mintcdn.com/agoslabstechnologiesfzco/nVMsHgQOcR2qTlLN/public/playbooks/consumer/seo-monthly-performance-report.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=nVMsHgQOcR2qTlLN&q=85&s=38907aa91388559fab0e75ff4dec6049" alt="Screen showing NoimosAI’s monthly analysis of website or media hub results" style={{ width: "100%", border: "1px solid #e5e7eb", borderRadius: "8px", margin: "18px 0" }} width="2880" height="1556" data-path="public/playbooks/consumer/seo-monthly-performance-report.png" />

Do not include personal data from sign-up forms or private community content in prompts; analyze using aggregated counts, percentages, pages, and traffic sources.

Monthly analysis should separate high-traffic pages from pages that lead readers to the next content, pages that generated follows/subscriptions/joins, and older pages that remain consistently read. For entry pages with many visits but low onward movement, add related articles. For pages with duplicated content, update or consolidate them.

Once you choose pages to improve, input the URLs and analysis results into the same chat. Modify only the parts identified as problematic by the analysis among target reader, page role, related content, and sign-up/join guidance. After publishing changes, check the same metrics the next month to see if movement to the next content and sign-ups improved.
