# Manage Social Media

> Use NoimosAI to continuously create and publish posts that match your content themes, increasing views, follows, sign-ups, and engagement.

In content distribution and community management, social media is not only a destination that points people to your content on other sites—it is often the primary place where people read, view, and converse about your posts. Rather than only asking users to click out to external sites, deliver value within the social media platform itself while guiding people toward follows, related content, newsletter sign-ups, and community participation.

Use the following four-stage workflow:

1. Decide which social media platforms to use and set your content strategy
2. Plan posts from your content themes and existing content
3. Create and publish content suited to each social media platform
4. Improve based on views, reactions, and ongoing touchpoints

Start with [Understand social media fundamentals](#basics) to review the decision criteria, then follow [Manage social media with NoimosAI](#practice) for the complete workflow.

## Understand social media fundamentals

### 1. Choose social media platforms and define your content strategy

Select priority platforms based on where your target audience gets information, the formats that convey your message well, and the materials you can consistently produce. Choosing only by user count can leave you unable to sustain the required formats and make your themes harder to convey.

The table below compares main formats for each platform and examples of how to use them for content distribution and community management. Start with platforms your audience uses and where you can consistently deliver your evidence and concrete examples.

| Social media platform | Main formats | Uses for content distribution and community |

Decide who you’re targeting, which themes you’ll cover, the depth and formats, and what you want the audience to receive on an ongoing basis as your content strategy.

### 2. Plan posts from your content themes and existing content

For planning, use expertise, experience, original research, questions from your audience, and past content. A single article, video, or audio piece can be expanded into concise takeaways, diagrams, short-form videos, or Q\&A, but check that each excerpt stands on its own.

Begin with real audience questions and the articles, videos, research, and activity records you already have. The table below shows how each source can become one post with a clear, self-contained point.

| Information used as a planning starting point | How to turn it into one post |
| --------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Questions repeatedly asked by readers | One-question-one-answer, explanation of a misconception, verification steps |
| Articles, videos, audio | One key point, diagram, short demo, supplemental Q\&A |
| Original research or validation | Key results, methods, caveats, link to the source |
| Production or activity process | Rationale, failures and fixes, progress updates, lessons learned |
| Events or community activities | Target audience, what attendees gain, key takeaways, next-event notice |

Don’t choose topics just because they’re topical; prioritize ideas where you can add facts or experience and deepen understanding of the content theme.

### 3. Create and publish content that works on social media platforms

Start by showing who will understand what up front, and make sure the key points come across within the social media platform itself. Use external links only when there is a reason to navigate away, such as detailed evidence, long procedures, or related series. When using quotes, images, videos, audio, or reader submissions, verify rights and permissions.

Even when using the same campaign across multiple social media platforms, do not directly copy the text verbatim. On platforms focused on short text, present a single claim and a concrete example; on image-centered platforms, convey the subject and the result in the first image; in video, state up front what the viewer will learn after watching. If a long explanation is necessary, complete the key points within the post and then link to the original source.

### 4. Improve based on reach, engagement, and repeat audience growth

Decide on one objective for a post before publishing and evaluate success using the metric that best matches that objective. The actions that constitute success differ between posts meant to increase impressions and posts meant to generate conversations or ongoing touchpoints.

The following table maps the actions you want to increase with the metrics used to judge their success.

| Actions you want to increase with a post | Metrics to judge success |
| ---------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Being discovered | Reach, impressions, video plays, new viewers |
| Receiving the content | Read completions, view retention, saves, shares |
| Creating conversation | Comments, replies, questions, public mentions |
| Creating ongoing touchpoints | Follows, channel subscriptions, profile views |
| Driving to other content | Moves to articles, videos, newsletters, or sign-up/participation pages |

Because different social media platforms define metrics differently, do not directly compare engagement rates across platforms.

Read the metrics as a progression. If reach grows without completion or saves, strengthen the opening and make the post useful on its own. If people consume the post but do not follow or explore related work, clarify the recurring topic and next destination. If clicks increase without subscriptions or participation, review whether the destination explains the continuing value and terms clearly.

Match metrics to the post’s objective. Do not evaluate a post intended for awareness and a post intended to drive readers to detailed content using the same metric alone. First identify high-performing posts within each platform, then compare differences in target audience, theme, format, openings, and concrete examples.

### 1. Choose social media platforms and define your content strategy

First, enter the target audience, content themes, your existing content, and the materials you can consistently provide into the chat. Have NoimosAI compare the characteristics and suitable formats of each social media platform, and determine the priority platforms, post themes, related content, and the calls-to-action for follows, subscriptions, or participation.

#### Prompt for chat

```text theme={null}
Deliver information about [content theme] to [target audience]. The current content is [article, video, audio, newsletter, etc.], and the available materials are [expertise, experience, research, questions, images, videos, etc.].
Based on where the target audience gets information, the formats that suit the content, and a sustainable publishing frequency, recommend the priority social media platforms. For each platform, specify the content themes, post formats, value delivered within the post itself, related content, follow/subscribe/join CTA, and metrics to monitor.
```

### 2. Plan posts from topics and existing content

Enter existing articles, videos, audio, newsletters, and reader questions in chat. Ask NoimosAI to generate post ideas that answer distinct audience questions, identify the facts each idea will use, choose suitable platforms and formats, and state what value each post will provide without requiring a click.

#### Prompt for chat

```text theme={null}
Based on [the URL of existing content or the text you entered] and [a question from the audience], please create a [time period] social media post plan.
For each plan, indicate the target audience, key points to communicate, facts/materials to use, the most suitable social media platforms and formats, what to include so the audience can complete the interaction within the platform, how to point to more detailed content, and how to prompt follows, sign-ups, or participation. Avoid duplicating the same key points, and do not create experiences or facts that were not provided as input.
```

Choose plans by confirming whether the target audience is clear at a glance, whether each post delivers a standalone value within the post itself, and whether the facts or materials needed are available. When creating multiple posts from a single long piece of content, ensure each one answers a different question.

#### Analyze content to reference

If you have a post or video you want to reference, enter the URL or file into the chat. Have NoimosAI break down the reasons it drew engagement, and create new concepts that apply only the elements you can use for your target audience and your content theme.

##### Prompt for chat

```text theme={null}
Analyze the [post or video URL, or attached file] from [social media platform].
Analyze the target audience, opening hook, theme, structure, concrete examples, visual treatment, copy, and elements that encouraged comments or sharing. Explain why the content drew engagement. Then create three original concepts for [my content theme] and [target audience] without copying the source’s wording or structure.
```

When choosing a concept, check whether it is too similar in expression or structure to the original post and whether you can add your own unique experiences or evidence.

#### Review public reactions as needed

If there are a significant number of public mentions of your name, media name, or main topics, use social listening. If mentions are few, don’t force it—develop ideas from existing content and readers’ questions.

##### Agent setup

**Trigger:** Schedule / Daily

**Instructions:**

```text theme={null}
Collect and analyze public mentions of [sender name · media name · main topic] on YouTube, X, and the web from the past 24 hours.
Classify them into questions, things people want to know more about, misunderstandings, and favorable reactions, and organize what to reply to, what to explain in the next post, and what to develop as long-form content.
```

Do not include private conversations or personal information; use only public reactions.

### 3. Create and publish content optimized for social media platforms

Enter the chosen campaign, facts, and assets into the chat to create finished content formatted for the target social media platform. This includes not only the post copy but also image or video composition, alt text, sources, related content, and calls to follow, subscribe, or participate.

#### Prompt for chat

```text theme={null}
Create finished content for social media about [project]. Indicate the target audience and what they will gain at the beginning, and make the key points understandable within the social media platform itself.
Include the post text, image or video composition, alternative text, sources, and calls to action for [related content, follow, subscribe, join]. Match [character count, video length, number of images].
```

Verify facts, citations, rights, and publishing scope, and publish or schedule on the connected social media platforms.

<img src="https://mintcdn.com/agoslabstechnologiesfzco/WUdTSmFBnDccnDQ0/public/help-center/use-cases/channels/social-media-media-creation.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=WUdTSmFBnDccnDQ0&q=85&s=e33143ef207eea15ae8bc1cc5475e4c9" alt="NoimosAI creating images and videos for social media posts" style={{ width: "100%", border: "1px solid #e5e7eb", borderRadius: "8px", margin: "18px 0" }} width="2880" height="1554" data-path="public/help-center/use-cases/channels/social-media-media-creation.png" />

After creation, check each platform’s display limits, image aspect ratios, captions/subtitles, alternative text, and link rendering. For videos, confirm the key points are understandable without audio; for images, confirm text remains readable on small screens.

Before publishing, verify facts and sources, quotation limits, rights for images, video, and audio, and permission to use posts featuring people or community content. After publishing or scheduling, open the post on each platform and confirm that line breaks, links, captions, subtitles, and alt text display as intended.

### 4. Improve based on views, engagement, and ongoing touchpoints

After publishing, compare high-performing posts and posts needing improvement within each social media platform every month. Analyze differences in target audience, themes, formats, openings, concrete examples, and calls to action, and create an agent that proposes what to continue, improve, or stop in the following month as well as new campaign ideas.

#### Agent setup

**Trigger:** Schedule / Monthly

**Instructions:**

```text theme={null}
Analyze social media posts from the past month by platform. Within each platform, identify posts that scored highly for reach, completion/view retention, saves, shares, comments, profile views, follows, and clicks to related content.
Organize commonalities in target audience, theme, format, opening, concrete examples, self-contained content within the post, and calls to action, and create items to continue, improve, or stop next month, as well as concepts for new posts.
```

**Integrations:** Social media platforms to analyze

<img src="https://mintcdn.com/agoslabstechnologiesfzco/WUdTSmFBnDccnDQ0/public/help-center/use-cases/channels/social-media-performance-review.png?fit=max&auto=format&n=WUdTSmFBnDccnDQ0&q=85&s=6b27ddeb708306181ee05062019a6d73" alt="NoimosAI analyzing results across multiple social media platforms" style={{ width: "100%", border: "1px solid #e5e7eb", borderRadius: "8px", margin: "18px 0" }} width="2880" height="1554" data-path="public/help-center/use-cases/channels/social-media-performance-review.png" />

Rather than simply repeating high-performing posts, separate which of the target audience, theme, format, opening, and concrete examples influenced performance. If a post has high visibility but does not lead to follows or clicks to related content, reassess alignment with the messaging theme and the next-step prompts.

When deciding next month’s plan from the analysis, don’t only continue high-performing formats—also add themes that lacked sufficient explanation and new audience questions. Map the changed elements to the metrics you will check and use next month’s results to judge whether improvements occurred.
